Phase One Consultation

Our first phase of community consultation is now live, running from Wednesday 11th September to Wednesday 23rd October 2024.

Where we are now

RWE has launched the first phase of community consultation for Lostrigg Solar. We welcome feedback from interested parties and the local community and are committed to undertaking a transparent and rigorous consultation process, which involves engaging with local planning authorities, interest groups and statutory consultees. This first phase of consultation will run until Wednesday 23rd October 2024.  

Information Events

As part of this consultation, RWE will be holding a series of in-person and online information events, providing opportunities for the community and interested parties to meet the project team, find out about the proposals and provide their feedback.

Detailed below is a list of the information events we will be holding, including the location, date and time of each event.

Saturday 28th September [11am – 3pm] – Bridgefoot Village Hall, Bridgefoot, Workington, CA14 1YF

Thursday 3rd October [2pm – 7pm] – Hunday Manor, Winscales, Workington, Cumbria, CA14 4JF

Friday 4th October [2pm – 7pm] – Kirkstile Community Centre, Dean, Workington, CA14 4TH

Tuesday 8th October [5:30pm – 7pm] – Community webinar, online
